How to End Ride

Here is your easy guide on how to properly Stop a ride.

Park at any RideON parking hub

Locate Parking: As you near your destination, identify the nearest designated parking hub pin on the map. To successfully complete your rental, always leave the scooter inside the designated RideOn hub area, ensuring it's safe and ready for the next user.

Make sure the kickstand is firmly in place

Ensure the scooter is stable and won’t tip over.

Secure the scooter with the steel cable on the parking bar

Lock it properly to prevent unauthorized use.

Return and lock your helmet

Place the helmet back in its holder and lock it for the next user.

End your ride in the app and rate your experience

Slide the “End Ride” button to finish and leave a quick rating to help us improve.

🛑 Troubleshooting: Difficulties Ending Your Ride

If you are experiencing difficulties completing your ride, please check the following:

1. Location Accuracy (GPS Check)

  • Ensure Proximity: If you've arrived at the designated parking spot but cannot end the ride, verify you are as close as possible to the parking pin on the map.

  • Action: GPS accuracy can vary. Move directly toward the pin location and try again.

2. Internet Connection

  • Verify Stability: Ending the ride requires a stable network connection to save your record and finalize billing.

  • Action: Verify you have a strong signal. If you are connected to Wi-Fi, try switching to your mobile data network.

3. Payment Information

  • Check Status: Verify that your default payment method is valid (not expired) and has sufficient funds to cover the final trip charge.

  • Action: You may need to update your card on file or add a new payment method before attempting to end the ride again.
