How to Start Ride

Here is your quick guide on how to Start your Ride Safely.

Download the app: scan QR to unlock and start

Download the app from Apple App Store or Google Play for Android and create your account if you don't have one yet by tapping Signup. Find a scooter nearby, Scan the QR code to unlock. But don't forget to Top-up your e-Wallet.

Gear up: Put on your helmet,

Before starting your ride, please remember to wear your helmet for enhanced protection. Some scooters are equipped with an on-board helmet. Below is the guide on how to unlock and access the Helmet. Also, if the scooter is currently locked using its Cable, don't worry - the Cable will unlock automatically after you scan the QR Code.

Ride: Kick off and press the throttle

Slowly kick while riding and press the throttle to accelerate or release to slow down. If you want to change the speed, here's the guide on how to do it.

Stop safely: Release throttle, use brakes

Pull the brake lever gently to stop

Watch out for pedestrians and give way

Ride only on PMD lanes. Follow traffic rules, lights, and use hand signals when turning.

🛑 Troubleshooting: Issues Starting Your Ride

If you encounter difficulties, here are quick solutions for common startup issues:

1. QR Code is Unreadable or Damaged

  • If the code isn't damaged: Tap the Flashlight icon on your screen and attempt to scan again.

  • If scanning fails or the code is damaged: Enter the Vehicle Number manually using the keypad on your screen.

2. Vehicle Number is Damaged or Unreadable

  • Please select a nearby available vehicle. Our local team will retrieve and service the faulty vehicle promptly.

3. The App Shows a Vehicle Error

  • Please try unlocking a different vehicle nearby. Our team has been alerted to the issue and is on the way to resolve the error on this unit.

4. The App Shows a Payment Error

  • You may need to add a new payment method or update the details of your existing one. Once updated, please try unlocking the vehicle again. Here the quick guide on how to top-up your e-wallet.
