Navigating Riding Zone
To ensure rider safety and comply with local rules and regulations, the RideOn PH app utilizes designated zones that restrict riding, speed, and parking.
These zones are displayed on your app map as shaded areas or colored pins. Violating any zone will result in vehicle slowdown, shutdown, and potential penalties.
1. Restriction Zones (Riding & Speed)
These zones control the vehicle's movement and speed in real-time.

Vehicle Behavior
No-Go Zone or Restricted Zone
Red shading with a restriction symbol.
Vehicles are unauthorized. The scooter will gradually come to a stop. You must walk the vehicle out of the zone to resume your ride.
Low-Speed Zone
Yellow shading.
The vehicle will automatically slow down. Tap the yellow area on the map to view the specific top speed for that zone.
Service Zone
Outlined by a Green Line with surrounding gray shading.
This is the rideable area. If you attempt to exit, the vehicle will gradually come to a stop. You must walk it back into the Service Zone to continue.
2. Parking & Locking Zones
These zones determine where you are permitted (or prohibited) from ending your ride. Improper parking may result in a warning or penalty.

Mandatory Parking Zone
Blue parking pins.
You must park and end your ride here. The app will help you navigate to the nearest pin.
No Parking Zone
Red shading with a no parking symbol.
Parking is strictly prohibited. The app will alert you and direct you to a nearby legal parking area if you attempt to end your ride here.
No Locking Zone
(Indicated by app alert)
If your vehicle uses a cable lock, do not secure it here. The app will provide locking guidelines and nearby legal parking spots.
Penalty Reminder
If you attempt to end your ride in a restricted or prohibited parking zone, the app will alert you and help you locate compliant parking. Improperly parked vehicles may be subject to fines or service penalties.
