Using Cable Lock
Some of our vehicles are equipped with an integrated cable lock, which must be used to secure the scooter to a bike rack or approved anchor point when ending your ride.
1. Starting Your Ride (Unlocking the Vehicle)
Initiate Unlock: Scan the QR code on the handlebar using the app. Keep your phone open to pair with the lock. An instruction screen will appear.
Release Cable: The cable lock will automatically unlock when the vehicle start. If the cable lock did not release, in the pop-op screen tap the Disconnect Cable button once and wait for the light to turn green. The cable pin will pop out.
Start Ride: Pull the cable free, remove the vehicle from the anchor point, and begin your trip. Reminder: Make sure you lock the cable pin to the right dock before you start your ride.
⚠️ Troubleshooting Release
If the cable pin does not pop out, the cable may be under tension. Move the vehicle closer to the bike rack to ease the strain. Do not pull on the cable until the lock button light is blue.
2. Ending Your Ride (Locking and Securing)
Vehicles must be properly parked in a designated hub to end your ride.
Park & Initiate: Park the vehicle upright and parallel to the bike rack.
Active Ride: Tap the "End Ride" icon, followed by the "End Ride" process in the app.
Secure Vehicle: Wrap the cable around the bike rack and firmly insert the cable pin into the lock. The app can detect if the cable is properly locked. Reminder: You cannot end the ride if the cable is not properly locked.
Confirm Parking Photo: Take a clear photo showing the vehicle securely attached to the bike rack.
Important Reminders:
Locking the vehicle upright and parallel to the rack (Do not lock it to other vehicles).
Leaving adequate space for other bikes or scooters on the rack.
You will receive a confirmation, and your ride will officially end once all required steps are completed.
